Lárus Karl Ingason has been on the frontline of Icelandic photography for many years. Specializing in nature photography, he has also used his ability to catch the light in advertising – often combining the two. He has worked on several projects for the State Department and has followed the President of Iceland on his travels.

Lárus Karl has published several books which can be said to have one thing in common: The captivating landscape of Iceland. These books include decorations to Icelandic poems in Treasure of Icelandic verse, the cook books Taste of Iceland and Chef Úlfar, as well as a trilogy of fly-fishing: Laxaflugur, Straumflugur, and Silungaflugur.
